"La Folia" (Spanish for "The Folly") is the first track of Emilie Autumn's first studio album On a Day.... "La Folia" is a music theme believed to have been originally composed in the 15th and 16th century by Jean-Baptiste Lully and Arcangelo Corelli. Composers such as Bach and Vivaldi have made their own variations of the theme. Emilie Autumn's variation repeats itself throughout the track and speeds up each time it does so. The track features Emilie on baroque violin and Edward Murray on harpsichord.
