Bloody Crumpets[]

When Vex was asked how she became involved with EA on her Tumblr, she responded: "I was contacted in 2008 by Emilie via her management and asked if I’d like to be a Bloody Crumpet and that was it really (I assume she saw my work and thought I’d fit in well but I didn’t really ask, it was all quite random!), I got flown to Germany to meet everyone the day before the first tour date! I honestly have no idea if I’ll tour again, but if I’m asked to then I would say yes; it was so much fun and I feel like I didn’t really have time to get into it and then I had to leave the tour early for modelling work! I think I’m much more confident at being on stage now too."

While Emilie was preparing for the filming of her music video, Fight Like a Girl, the two got back in touch and Vex was invited to be a part of the video. Due to scheduling conflicts, Vex was only able to attend one of the two days of filming, but she nevertheless got to be involved and featured in the project.

Her following belonged to "Ulorin Vex's Fetish Assassins."

Personal Life and Career[]

Vex was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. She graduated from the University of Durham with a BSc (hon) in Natural Sciences, beginning her modeling career shortly thereafter. She was a London based model until 2009. Vex currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, but often travels to England and back.

On September 30, 2011, Vex married photographer Allan Amato. They ended their relationship in 2016, with Vex stating that Amato had been abusive towards her - on Twitter, she referred to him as "an awful person, a narcissistic creep and the absolute antithesis of an ally to anyone. I guess he was quite charming if you had social clout or anything else he wanted to exploit though." Vex married again in 2018.
